**Data Scientist Intern**
**60%-100 % - 6 months (possible to extend another 6 months)**

**Why we are recruiting**

**Main responsibilities**
- Assess quality of data and remove or clean data
- Enhancing the data collection process
- Support building predictive models and machine learning algorithms
- Assisting researchers in reviewing and describing research findings
- Meeting regularly with supervisor to discuss research assignments

**Formula for success**
- Bachelor or Master students, majored in data science/engineering/econometrics, or in a similar field
- Good knowledge of statistics
- Experience in object-oriented programming (OOP) in Python and/or R
- Experience working with Application Programming Interface (API) - a plus
- Experience working with Git (or any version control system)
- Knowledge in NLP - a strong plus
- Experience training and testing machine learning models in the cloud - a plus
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Fluent English speaking/reading/writing
