Hi there We're amazee.io, a fully remote, globally distributed team with team members in the APAC, EMEA, and Americas time zones.

We are looking for an experienced and innovative **Head of Marketing** who thrives in both strategic leadership and hands-on content creation to join our global and fully remote team

As Head of Marketing you’ll be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention. You’ll oversee all marketing operations, including digital marketing, content creation, branding, product marketing, and customer insights, while working closely with cross-functional teams to drive the company’s growth.

This is a strategic role that blends a mixture of creative thinking, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on execution as you are actively producing engaging content across multiple channels. **Work location**: This position is fully remote, however we require you to be working during EMEA business hours (timezones UTC 0 to UTC +3)

**What you’ll do**:

- **Marketing Strategy**: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive growth, increase market share, and position amazee.io as a leader in the open source web hosting industry.
- **Guide and support the marketing team**:Leading the marketing team, you’ll look to drive valuable activities, support execution, and mentor and develop your team, whilst fostering an open and collaborative work environment.
- **Lead Generation & Customer Acquisition efforts**: Design and support the execution of lead generation strategies through paid and organic channels to attract new customers and expand the user base of amazee.io’s tools and services.
- **Brand Development**: Lead efforts to strengthen the company's brand identity and ensure consistency across all marketing channels, both online and offline.
- **Collaborate**: Work closely with product, sales, engineering teams and management to understand offerings and USP’s and create marketing plans and strategies in line with wider company goals.
- **Content Marketing**: Lead content marketing efforts, including blogs, white papers, case studies, webinars, and video content, to engage the target audience and improve organic growth. Ensure consistency of brand voice across all platforms.

**What you'll bring**:

- Previous experience driving marketing strategy in a Cloud, SaaS, PaaS, or Open Source tech company.
- Strong understanding of product marketing and the ability to translate technical products into compelling value propositions.
- Understanding of the Cloud and/or Open Source market, and technological landscape
- Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar platforms to optimize marketing efforts and decision making
- Experience in various hands on marketing roles within the tech industry to better guide your team
- Proven experience as a content writer or copywriter across various mediums, including short-form (website, social, ads) and long-form (fact sheets, solution briefs, white papers, and eBooks).
- Ability to write and speak English on a level that allows you to produce high-quality copywriting and communications.
