**Sustainability Consultant/Associate**

**Location: 100% Remote within the EU (HQ in Berlin, Germany)**

Our partner company, a rapidly growing Climate Tech / SaaS firm, is looking to hire a Senior Sustainability Consultant/Associate. This role allows you to make a tangible impact by helping clients navigate their sustainability journeys, particularly through carbon management, CSRD reporting, and decarbonization strategies. You’ll be working on meaningful projects and developing solutions to help companies achieve net-zero emissions using an innovative software-driven approach.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Sustainability Advisory**: Provide expert consultancy on sustainability reporting (CSRD), carbon management, and decarbonization strategies through the company’s SaaS platform. Take ownership of client accounts, developing long-term strategies to enhance engagement.
- **Product Development**: Actively contribute to improving the SaaS platform, collaborating with internal teams to meet client needs.
- **Process Optimization**: Define and design workflows, and work on automating data processing tasks to enhance efficiency.
- **Project Leadership**: Lead strategic projects, such as implementing sustainability initiatives, and take on future leadership opportunities if desired.
- **Data Analysis**: Process sustainability data to generate Corporate Carbon Footprints and create key sustainability reports.

**Key Requirements ️**:

- **Fluent in German (C2)** and **English (C1)** for client communication.
- **2+ years of experience in sustainability consulting**, with a focus on CSRD reporting, carbon accounting, or sustainability strategy.
- **Skills**: Strong communication, hands-on approach, and project management experience.
- **Bonus**: Experience with Python or familiarity with data automation.
- **Technologies**: Familiarity with sustainability reporting and carbon management tools, with a willingness to collaborate closely with the software development team.
