**Your role**

**Your tasks and responsibilities**
- Have an interest in Data Protection and a understanding levels of confidentiality needed in dealing with Data Subjects (Customers/Users) personal data
- Have an sound knowledge of MDPI products to investigate each Data Subjects data and activity in MDPI
Publications (submitted/Rejected/published)
- Check for reviewed publications
- Check for Editorial Body Position on a Journal
- Check for Guest Editor role on Special Issue
- Check specific menu in SUSY
- Provide a profile of the user based on the investigation
- Take on actions directly from Data Protection Team or follow up actions with other teams related to the Data Subjects request:

- Add to SUSY Deny list
- Deactivate Accounts
- Understand the Support Teams process
- Provide back up support as and when needed
- Respond to and take actions on request from the Support Team

**Your skill set**:
**Essential**
- Sound knowledge of MDPI operating systems and processes when handling manuscripts, reviewers and customers
- Sound knowledge of MDPI communication tools, methods and processes with customers (Authors, Reviewers, Guest Editors, etc.)
- Understanding of the current customer facing tools and how to navigate them
- Internal role for someone in the editorial department
- Interest in Data Protection and Processes
- Has an investigative nature
