As a Global Common Platform Product Manager, you will be working on future Electrification cloud and edge technologies, with a special focus on common platform technology components. In this high-impact global position within a business digital management team, you will oversee the definition, maintenance and planning of the Electrification Common Platform requirements.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Manage the strategy and lifecycle of the Electrification Common Platform with input from division digital leads and product owners. Ensure alignment between stakeholders. Plan the future evolution of platform components and ensure timely and quality release of digital capabilities.
- Provide governance to the Electrification Common Platform project. Maintain a cross-division project plan based on collection and prioritization of division offering requirements. Communicate project delivery related decisions, ensure conflict resolution, and avoid delivery issues.
- Define and maintain requirements for the common cloud-based platform, including telemetry, data ingestion, processing and storage, user identification, access management, cybersecurity, user data management and data privacy.
- Define and maintain requirements for edge gateway solutions for field computing and connectivity including field bus connectivity protocols and cloud connectivity according to ABB specifications. Work with various R&D teams on IoT gateway technology stack and cyber security requirements.
- Create common Information Models (Digital Twin) and semantics for Electrification equipment and topologies.
- Define modular common UX components to be adopted as a standard user interface in line with ABB Branding guidelines.
- Develop a set of commissioning tools to be used by the divisions to commission devices to the Electrification Common Platform.
- Define a common API and SDK management layer and developer portal for 3rd party integration and provide support to 3rd party developers.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology (or equivalent) specializing in IoT, cloud and edge components, with knowledge of analytics and machine learning. Masters in the same or an adjacent field is a strong plus.
- 10+ years of experience developing IoT solutions and implementing enterprise-grade scalable solutions.
- Deep understanding of IT, networking, data ingestion, processing and storage, user identification, access management, software-as-a-service, UX principles, API, SDK, data privacy and cybersecurity standards for IoT platforms.
- Experience in IoT solution architecture, field communication protocols and wireless technology for industrial systems.
- Good command of agile software development practices and software lifecycle management using DevOps. Proven software product and project management expertise.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Structured, assertive, resilient, creative, self-motivated, and team player with the ability to lead direct and cross-division team members.
