The Individual and Career Funding team focuses on funding instruments that finance projects by early career researchers and/or individual researchers.
**Your responsibilities**:
- To complement the Individual and Career Funding team, we are looking for a motivated and open-minded person to take on the following tasks:
- You will advise UZH researchers on international, national and internal university funding opportunities and support them in submitting projects (in particular to the EU and the Swiss National Science Foundation)
- You will be involved in the processes for awarding internal UZH funding to early career researchers
- You offer advice and support on administrative and financial issues relating to ongoing third-party funded projects
- You are in contact with other UZH departments, as well as other universities and research funding agencies
- You will be involved in other tasks and projects of the Research & Grants Office
**Your profile**:
- Completed university degree and familiarity with the academic world (through own research experience and/or professional experience in a university environment)
- Experience in research management and in-depth knowledge of European research funding (Horizon Europe/ERC) are an advantage
- Very good knowledge of English (oral and written) and at least a good basic knowledge of German (niveau B1)
- Service-oriented and reliable with excellent self and time management skills
- Ability to work in a team and willingness to take on responsibility
