- We are looking for an initiative, independent and persuasive personality who is willing to take on great responsibility & challenging tasks as an Investment Advisor with a focus on asset allocation and theme investing.

**What would your role be?**
- Developing tactical investment allocations and investment recommendations based on Vontobel’s market view.
- Developing investment themes and topics for strategic implementation as well as tactical investment calls.
- Maintaining Vontobel’s “Select” offering by developing investment modules that cover strategic investment topics.
- Selecting investment instruments to implement strategic views as well as tactical calls in “Select” modules.
- Monitoring “Select” implementation, including performance analyses and reporting.
- Providing the investment advisory team with investment ideas and topics on a short-term (super-tactical) basis.
- Support client relationship managers with respect to the “Select” offering.
- Deputy function for the Chief Investment Allocation Officer.

**What are we looking for?**
- University degree in finance, further degrees like CFA (or similar) preferred.
- Experience in the financial industry, with focus on top-down investment processes covering mixed asset class allocations (e.g. CIO Office).
- Strong financial research background with ability to develop investment ideas and themes in a wealth management setting.
- Investment product knowhow covering collective instruments (active, passive) as well as structured products and similar.
- Strong technical skills as a strong advantage (a.o. xls, VBA, SQL, Matlab).
- Ability to adjust according to audience as we communicate to clients across different regions and channels.
- Conviction to achieve our goals with our business partners.
- Highly motivated team player with a flexible, proactive, open-minded attitude and a strong desire to improve things
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German, English and strong client presentation and communication skills. French and/or Italian would be a strong asset.
