Looking for a talented professional to join one of the largest global pharmaceutical companies as a Clinical Development Medical Director, to be part of a diverse team at the forefront of innovation.

What the role involves:

- Oversight of the clinical development of assigned programs and driving execution of the clinical development plan
- Provide clinical leadership and strategic medical input for all clinical deliverables in assigned projects/ program
- Lead development of clinical sections of trial/ program regulatory documents
- Support Global Program Clinical Head in ensuring all safety of the molecule for assigned section
- Support Clinical Development Head by providing medical input into Clinical Development Plan, Integrated Development Plan, and Clinical Trial Protocol
- Interact with external and internal stakeholders and decision boards

**Requirements**:

- Medical degree or equivalent is required in addition to advanced knowledge and clinical training in medical/scientific area
- 5+ years’ experience in clinical research or drug development
- Experienced in an academic clinical research or industry environment spanning Phases I through IV
- Experience in all aspects of conducting clinical trials (e.g., planning, executing, reporting, and publishing) in a global/matrix environment in pharmaceutical industry required
- Working knowledge of disease area (Rheumatology) is required, with proven ability to interpret, discuss and present efficacy and safety data relating to clinical trial(s) and proven ability to understand and interpret basic and clinical scientific research reports
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective scientific partnerships with key stakeholders
- Knowledge of GCP, clinical trial design, statistics, and regulatory and clinical development processes
- Previous global people management experience is preferred
