For Ibex® Solutions, our recently launched unique biological manufacturing and development concept in Visp, Switzerland, we are looking for an Associate Principal Scientist (M/F/d) in our team in Mammalian Cell Culture Development at the Visp site. In this role, you will work in interdisciplinary teams as a lead expert in cell line development and interact closely with customers on project basis.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and execute complex projects on mammalian cell line development, ensuring all quality and regulatory aspects are fulfilled.
- Develop strong customer relationships.
- Actively contribute to the implementation and establishment of robust processes.
- Write and review high quality reports.
- Contribute to training activities.
Key requirements:
- Bsc with 4+ years of relevant industry experience, Msc with 2+ years of experience or PhD in the field of Biotechnology.
- Hand-on experience with CHO mammalian cell culture (aseptic techniques, subculture, cryopreservation, transfections, clonal isolation, AMBR15/AMBR250, stirred-tank bioreactors,)
- Ability to work in teams and organize work
- Technical English required, German is a plus
- Availability to work during weekends and bank holidays a few times per year
