Surval Montreux is a unique international girls’ boarding school in Switzerland which provides an exceptional all-round education for girls aged 12-18. The school offers a High School programme for Grades 8-12, alongside a French Language and Culture programme, Winter Camp and Summer Camp June to August.

**For August 2025**, we are seeking to appoint a **Housemistress**who will combine energy, enthusiasm and commitment to support the Boarding life of our vibrant and flourishing school. Full board and accommodation are provided during term-time.

The successful applicant will have:

- appropriate qualifications and experience of working in a boarding school
- nursing experience and qualifications an advantage
- advanced level of English, French is an asset
- team player with strong communication skills
- ability to work under pressure and remain calm
- flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and openness to take on multiple tasks
- open and fair-minded
- initiative, resilience and integrity
- a clean driving licence and willingness to drive school vehicles
- hold a European or Swiss passport or a Swiss residence permit

Being an boarding school for girls only, the residential position is only open to female applicants.
