Lead, Material Handler

**Job Description**:
**About This Role**

Join our dynamic team as a Lead, Materials Handler, where you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and executing warehouse activities. In this leadership position, you'll collaborate closely with the Sr. Coordinator and Lead, Warehouse to ensure seamless operations.

**What You'll Do**
- Performs and provides training in all warehouse activities (Kitting, receiving, cycle count and shipping)
- Provides guidance to the Shift team in absence of the Supervisor/Coordinator in terms of priority setting and activities to be performed
- Acts as an Interface with other departments to ensure that warehouse functions are being performed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Investigates and resolves issues within warehouse operations (Issues from Sr Material Handlers +TRN)
- Develop and revise SOP's as needed.
- Release / Perform cycle counts, as well as investigates discrepancies and implements corrective measures.
- Remains knowledgeable and complies with all regulations (e.g. IATA)

Your excellent verbal and written communication skills enable you to articulate issues effectively. Collaboration is your strength, and you are driven by the desire to define outcomes that benefit patients.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years in related industry
- Minimum of 2 years internal experience in warehouse operations, being able to responde and trouble shoot
- Minimum High School Diploma or Apprenticeship or Bachelor's Degree.
- Fork Lift Operator's and training license preferred
- Competency in an ERP system as related to warehouse operations
- Safety, GMP and Quality mindset (acting as an example)
