To be successful in this role, you will need to have a PhD in the fields of cellular therapy, immunology, oncology or closely related areas, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in flow cytometry, isolation, and engineering of immune cells. You should also have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.*
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Designing and performing multi-parameter flow cytometry assays.**:
- **Cultivation and manipulation of cell lines, as well as cell culture of tumor and immune cells (e.g. T, NK, B, Dendritic cells and hematopoietic stem cells).**:
- Genetically engineer primary cells to introduce DNA with methods like transfection, transduction and electroporation.
- After the training period, independently design and perform experiments, analyze and present data at team meetings.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of experimental protocols and results.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and facilities, as required.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- A PhD in cellular therapy or a related field: immunology, oncology or a related area.
- Research experience: minimum of 3 years of experience in flow cytometry, isolation, and engineering of immune cells in academic or industrial settings.
- Strong analytical skills are therefore essential.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques: Familiarity with a range of laboratory techniques, such as flow cytometry, ELISA, incucyte, PCR, co-culture killing and proliferation assays.
- Excellent communication skills, capacity to present findings to colleagues and stakeholders, in precise, consise and inspiring ways.
- A scientist who is happy to roll up their sleeves and get the job done in the lab, as well as providing the intellectual input in design and execution of the teams’ business strategy.
- Ability to work independently proven by an excellent publication track record as well as being part of a cross-functional team.
- Proficiency (e.g., C1 level) in both written and spoken English.
- Good computer skills required (MS Office, Apple hardware). Experience with electronic lab notebook (ELN), molecular biology software, data analysis software.
