**Assistant Professorship tenure track in Quantum Materials by Design**

Additionally, the successful applicant is expected to acquire external research funding. Zurich's scientific environment encompasses a rich spectrum of diverse activities in condensed matter and quantum science, including close bonds between the Department of Physics and the Paul Scherrer Institute, groups working on the theoretical modelling of quantum matter, and substantial research efforts within the local industry.
