This Position reports to:
Business Chief Financial Officer

**Your role and responsibilities**:
As the leader of the Lilac Headquarter accounting team, you will ensure monthly/quarterly/annual accounting, reporting, and controlling for the Robotics Holding companies (CHARM, CHARH, CHARF) according to external (US GAAP, CH GAAP) and internal accounting & reporting guidelines.

Reporting into the Lilac Chief Accounting Officer, you contribute to the development of accounting/reporting strategies in terms of long-/mid-term business developments in close cooperation with the corporate functions & product groups and the Business Areas in global projects like investments and divestments.

You will also ensure accurate cost capture and classification and work closely with the FP&A function to facilitate the corporate cost controlling processes.

**You will be mainly accountable for**:

- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant accounting and reporting for Robotics Holding Companies under US GAAP, CH GAAP, and ABB Group Standards, including statutory financial statements and Board/AGM documentation.
- Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with Group internal controls and Swiss Code of Obligations.
- Oversee accounting and reporting for IS projects, technology ventures, and fund investments, while managing Group internal fees and related transactions.
- Collaborate closely with Group Functions (Treasury, FPA, Tax), HUBs, and business controllers to support accurate reporting and decision-making.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives in accounting, reporting, and controlling systems (SAP, CFIN, ABACUS, Power BI).

**Qualifications for the role**:

- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; international accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- 8-10 years of professional experience in Finance, Accounting, and Reporting within an international corporate environment.
- Proven expertise in accounting and valuation of start-ups and fund structures, including post-acquisition accounting.
- Minimum 5 years in a controlling or accounting role, with solid practice in internal controls (ICoFR) and proficiency in financial systems (SAP, Power BI, HFM).
- In-depth knowledge of ABB Accounting & Reporting Policies, US GAAP, and Swiss statutory requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills; fluent in English, German knowledge is an asset.
