**About Your Role**:
The CE Commercial Finance Business Partner is a newly created role that will predominantly focus on business partnering, pricing and support to the Lines of Business (LOB) product teams.
**YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- In this role You will:
**Deliver financial results with exceptional business partnership**:
- Direct support to the sales teams
- Support of annual sales plan and ongoing forecasting requirements
- Have a deep understanding of all variances in sales performance and proactively drive improvements.
- Input into deal structuring, deal profit viability and commercial negotiations where appropriate
- Ensure deals are constructed to help ensure payment collection
- Provide robust and timely LOB reporting, providing support to LOB teams
- Support Vertical (industry sector) analyses
- Ensure GO alignment support (internal compensations)
**Drive a strategic transformation agenda across the team**
- Alignment of deal calculators with D&B US, introduction to and training of CE sales teams
- Use of financial analysis in supporting sales business partners for win/loss, ROI, deal postmortems, deal trajectory, usage pace, & monitoring
- Partner with other areas including Sales Operations, Revenue Team, Legal and Order To Invoice, to minimize order rejections, SalesForce adherence and sales training as needed
**Use of existing and new Commercial Finance sales reporting to support the Vertical sales and LOB teams**:
- Partnering with other teams including Sales Operations to ensure Sales Force compliance, league tables and sales training
**Provide ad hoc analysis as required, including assistance with specific projects and initiatives**
**Strong controllership, Ethics and Compliance**
- Ensure that business is conducted according to USGAAP
- All relevant financial controls are compliant with SOX
**YOUR EXPERIENCE**:
- Successful finalized study in economics or a certified financial accountant
- A results-focused, self-motivated, dynamic character who can operate well both within a team and when working alone
- Demonstrates a ‘Can-do’ attitude, able to co-ordinate multiple inputs to provide clear, concise and insightful management information
- Previous achievements within a commercial environment
- Proven examples of support to a sales organization
- High quality Excel (ideally including macros and VBA), PowerPoint and Word skills are essential; knowledge of TM1/Hyperion and SFDC would be beneficial
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and German essential
- Excellent planning and analytical skills, together with a proactive approach
- Ability to manage workloads to strict reporting deadlines, as well as to react flexibly to changes in requirements
- Keen to learn and understand complex systems, processes and the mechanics of a business
- Experience working in a matrix organization beneficial
