The Strategic Solutions Group helps clients meet the most complex financing needs and helps them seize exceptional investment opportunities through global access to capital markets.

The Private Markets team within SSG focuses on the distribution of private equity, private debt and real estate either directly or through closed ended funds.

Overall purpose of role

The role holder will be placed in the SSG team based in Switzerland and will be responsible for managing key aspects of the wider SSG platform. This requires liaising and coordinating with internal stakeholders including Operations, Legal, Tax and Compliance. The role holder is a primary escalation point of contact for Private Bankers in respect of Private Market and Corporate Finance & Customised Solutions activities such as reporting, distributions, capital calls and other day-to-day processes and associated queries. This will often involve dealing with senior bankers, Managing Directors and Team Leaders and managing issues from start to finish.

In addition, the role holder will locally support the approval, launch and distribution of Private Equity Funds and Direct Investments in Switzerland.

Key Accountabilities
- Be a key figure in the day to day running of the SSG business, supporting front-office sales, creating process efficiencies across the product lifecycle and ensuring optimum colleague and client experience.
- Ensure new funds and direct investments are launched successfully in Switzerland and in a timely manner
- Be responsible for the end to end product lifecycle across the Private Markets platform including development, on-boarding, trade, maintenance and closure activities, whilst providing technical, product and operational expertise to ensure all necessary product lifecycle activities are managed and completed effectively.
- Pro-actively manage external/internal events and changes (e.g. regulatory) impacting the Private Markets business.
- Experience in presenting to various audiences drafting and delivering clear concise information including client investment committees, bankers and Investment Advisers. This will include delivering product training to private bankers/ investment advisers and providing updates at Banker Sales Meetings and Stakeholder sessions.

Stakeholder Management and Leadership
- The role holder will have in-depth experience in managing closed ended funds; have a good understanding of relevant processes (e.g. Operational, Regulatory / Compliance, Technology etc.) and managing key stakeholders including Compliance, Legal, Operations, Distribution and Tax.
- The role holder will demonstrate proven product and technical knowledge in the Private Markets space to ensure the role holder manages to lead and sufficiently answers queries from private bankers.
- The role holder will have the ability to coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless running of the existing product platform, and help develop the Private Markets platform in line with business objectives (e.g. approval of new processes).

- The role holder will have the technical knowledge to know when to search for additional information if required, and be able to independently offer logical solutions to complex or uncommon situations.
- The role holder will have an impact on the overall SSG proposition in Switzerland through making decisions that take into account local nuances, local regulations and local appetite to ultimately drive the local business proposition
