**ROLE REQUIREMENT**
- BS, MS, PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics or related fields.
- 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven track record with architecting, designig and executing engineering. projects that transfer disruptive technology to innovative products.
- Experience in cloud native development, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, Virtualization and serverless based scalable architectures, containers/docker.
- Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Java, Scala, Python, J2EE, Web Services) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React).
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. HANA, PostgreSQL, Cassandra etc), web servers (e.g. Apache), Application Servers (e.g. JBoss) and UI/UX design.
- Familiarity with common stacks knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML5/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
- Understanding of Security processes and utilisation of security tools
- Experience of security requirements in IT and Network technologies
- International security standards such as CoBIT, ISO 27001, BSI IT Baseline Protection Manual, etc.
- Knowledge and awareness of typical Cyber Security threats, attack vectors, tools and techniques and effective countermeasures
- Hyperscaler architectural / operational implementation experience.
**EXPERIENCE & ROLE REQUIREMENTS**
- Acts with refined collaboration and communication skills
- Build robust, secure, scalable software solutions, focusing on openness for extensibility and ease of integration to existing SAP products.
- Solves problems swiftly, independently, and constantly ‘thinks on his/her feet’
- Shines with a positive ‘can-do’ and ‘get the job done’ attitude
- Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
- Has a sufficient level of maturity and self-confidence to interact with senior manager, experts and executives
- 10+ years of total professional experience, thereof 5+ years in architectural role
- Good knowledge of SAP’s internal processes
- Fluent in German & English
