We are currently offering an exciting opportunity at **PHAST**, a subsidiary of **Professional Scientific Services** (**PSS**) Switzerland. This job based at our client’s site at Schaffhausen, Switzerland will initially be limited to 12 months (with the possibility of a permanent extension).
**Job Description**:
For our client’s international team in Schaffhausen, we are looking for an Analytical Technician / Laboratory Technician (all genders). In this exciting and versatile position, your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Performing hands-on analytical support for large molecule process development and clinical material testing
- Supporting the fill and finish of drug product for clinical trial supplies
- Performing a broad range of analytical techniques including HPLC (e.g., size exclusions), bioassays (e.g., immunoblotting), UV-spectrometer, fluorescence detection (involving microscopy and plate-based assays)
- Supporting in the development of new analytical technologies
- Supporting the implementation of process analytical technologies for on-line measurements
- Handling of samples incl. preparation of reagents and data entry into the lab notebook (ELN)
- Communicating with team members as well as various partners
- Independent data investigation and escalation in case of deviations
- Perform analysis under GMP (including compliant documentation)
**Qualifications**:
For this multifaceted position we are looking for someone with:
- Industry training, e.g. BTA, CTA or MTA, Bachelor studies (Biotech, Biochemistry, or Chemistry) or comparable
- Ideally professional experience within a R&D and GMP laboratory
- Good knowledge in the regulated area under GMP or ISO 17025 would be beneficial
- Experience with ELN is an advantage
- Experience with automated liquid handling is a plus
- Careful and responsible way of working
- Strong communication and teamwork skills will help you to integrate into a dynamic, international team
- Strong communication skills in German and English
- High motivation, ability to work under pressure, flexibility and reliability
- High level of commitment and enthusiasm
