Head of Iot and Smart Products

**What's the role?**:
We are looking for an experienced IT professional to lead and further develop our IoT team in conjunction with the business units, with the goal of incorporating differentiating IoT functionalities into our products.

**What does the role involve?**:
In this role, you will be a member of the extended IT management team, adding value to the direction and strategy of Hilti’s Global IT.
Your tasks will include global project conceptualization, implementation, and support of our IoT Smart Products. You will be working closely with the hardware development and marketing teams to bring the best products enabled by IoT to the market, all the while ensuring feasible integration into our business processes in order to create differentiating value for our customers. You will achieve this by implementing strategic development plans together with our business units and translating these into value-generating IT capabilities.
As part of your managerial responsibilities you will also lead, coach and recruit team members, allowing you to achieve outstanding results as well as personal growth.

**What you need is**:

- PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Information Technology
- Successful experience in leading a team; passionate about people management, development and coaching
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to successfully perform in a global matrix environment and demonstrated ability in stakeholder management
- Creative, innovative and open-minded character
- Fluent English
