In this role you will design, develop and facilitate the implementation of diversity strategies & programs for our Visp site in line with the global D&I strategy. You will drive Lonza’s D&I Agenda in Visp, to focus on nurturing a work environment where employees feel safe being their authentic and true selves without fear of discrimination. In this role, you will contribute to further develop the integration of newcomers into Lonza Visp and create a new culture between existing and new employees.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a recognized D&I program by driving the Change Management initiatives
- Help to build and maintain a positive employee experience by inspiring existing employees, integrating them into our corporate culture and ultimately activating them as D&I ambassadors
- Create & publish over different channels relevant D&I content in relation to our life at work, our company culture & values
- Engage in external projects in the Visp area to ensure a profound and deep Welcome Culture for our diverse employees
- Participate in Global D&I initiatives
- Measure and forecast diversity metrics
- Key contributor to the delivery of new projects within Switzerland with in collaboration with HR Services and HR BPs
- Assist with other Total Rewards related projects including annual total rewards processes, special incentives plans and market related activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Management, Communications, HR or relevant field
- Profound work experience in a similar position within HR
- Fluency in German and English is required
- Strong stakeholder management competency
- Strong cultural awareness with experience regarding Diversity and Inclusion topics ideally within a matrix organization
- Creativity & familiarity with event planning with strong and organized work manner as well as project management skills
- Excellent communication & presentation skills with strong political savviness and business acumen
- Strong Team Player and able to work across cross-functional teams
