Emea Business Development Representative

As a BDR at Avantra, you will play a crucial role in generating and qualifying leads, engaging with prospective customers, and working closely with sales and marketing teams to drive pipeline growth. You will be responsible for cold outreach, lead qualification, and driving interest in Avantra’s automation and AIOps solutions across the EMEA region.
While SAP knowledge would be advantageous, it is not essential—full training will be provided. However, fluency in French and English (bilingual proficiency) is a must, as you will be engaging with French-speaking prospects as well as prospects from the rest of EMEA.
Experience in cold calling in a remote setting is essential, as this will be a key component of the role.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Lead Generation & Prospecting**:Identify and engage key decision-makers within enterprise SAP landscapes, including CIOs, CTOs, SAP Basis leads, and IT operations teams.
**Market Research & Targeting**: Use industry insights and intelligence to develop targeted outreach strategies for key accounts across EMEA.
**Lead Qualification**: Assess customer needs, qualify potential opportunities, and schedule discovery meetings for the sales team.
**Collaboration with Sales & Marketing**: Work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Product teams to align messaging and tailor outreach for different industries and SAP use cases.
**Pipeline Management**:Maintain and track leads in CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent), ensuring accurate reporting and follow-up.
**Event & Webinar Support**: Engage prospects pre
- and post-events, follow up on leads generated from Avantra’s SAP industry webinars and conferences.
**Stay Updated on SAP Trends**:Keep abreast of SAP industry developments, S/4HANA migration trends, and AIOps innovations to position Avantra effectively in prospect conversations.
**Requirements**:
Experience in** BDR, SDR, or Sales roles** - 1-3 years of experience in a business development, inside sales, or lead generation role, ideally in the enterprise software or SAP ecosystem.
Excellent **Communication** Skills - Ability to engage with C-level executives, SAP decision-makers, and technical teams to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively.
**CRM** & **Reporting** Experience - Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent CRM systems for tracking and managing lead interactions would be advantageous.
**Self-Motivated**& **Goal-Oriented** - Driven to meet and exceed KPIs, with a passion for pipeline building and revenue impact.
Fluency in **French** and **English** (Bilingual proficiency - C1 level)
