Contracts Manager

Our client, a luminary within the engineering and construction sector, is looking for a dynamic individual to fill the position Contracts Manager at their location in the heart of Zurich. For this role we are looking for a person with a pro-active approach and strong negotiation skills. This offers an exciting position with the potential to play a key role in the company’s success story. **Your Duties**
- Monitoring the progress of construction and O&M contracts and subcontracts and systematic recording of deviation
- Participation in the preparation and negotiation of contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
- Handling of the supplementary management in cooperation with the project management
- Conduction of contractual correspondence, notification of disabilities, registration of additional costs
- Registration and submission of supplementary claims
- Monitoring of time limits as wells as notification of adjustments to time limits
- Creations of lists and management of order changes and supplementary offers
- Coordination of contract law issues with the legal service
- Enforcement of warranty claims against subcontractors as well as suppliers
- Filing and managing of audit-proof contract documents
- Coordination of company-wide compliance requirements

**Your Profile**
- Completed education for contract law or commercial/ legal training with in-depth knowledge of construction project contracts’ management
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience preferably within infrastructure engineering projects
- Proven track record within the area of supplemental management/ contract management
- Experienced with standard forms of contracts such as FIDIC
- You’ re happy to work independently as well in a team
- You are featured with good communication skills and are known for your assertive negotiation skills in written and oral form
- Willingness to travel to project locations if necessary
