The Opportunity

As a Technical Editor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and overall quality of our technical documentation. Your main responsibility will be to review and edit various types of written material, such as user manuals, product specifications, technical reports, and marketing content. This involves ensuring that the material meets our high standards and effectively communicates complex concepts to diverse audiences. You will also facilitate the production of high-quality technical content by reviewing and editing for clarity, consistency, and user-friendliness. This position is remote, allowing you to work from home while collaborating with our global team.

**Your Contributions**:

- Review, edit and write clear, accurate and consistent technical documentation
- Responsible of ensuring the right content comes together
- Responsible for translations and localization of our technical documentation
- Conduct comprehensive quality checks to ensure adherence to style guidelines, industry standards and brand consistency
- Support for legal and commercial teams with our technical documentation
- Manage the procurement and maintenance process for the authoring tool

**Your Profile**:

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, Robotics or related field
- Your work and language coordination has resulted in a body of language (manual, in-product text, etc.) for a complex hardware/software product used at scale by enterprise B2B companies and/or millions of B2C users
- Excellent editing skills and is able to formulate strong texts, proposals and feedback, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent information acquisition and information organization skills
- Strong in working with content management systems and collaboration tools
- Strong in achieving high-quality translation outcomes via selection and management of agencies and/or AI-based translation tools
- Capable of generating language output in alignment with industry's-specific style guidelines
- Capable of working independently, remotely and managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

**Bonus Points**:

- Can create content ex: figures, sketches, explosion drawings, pictures, videos to support text
- Scope to create cross company value with training videos and marketing material
- Engineering knowledge to understand and translate technical documentation for user content
