**Your responsibilities**:
- Contributing to and leading research projects in the field of power electronics with a focus on design of magnetic components
- Contributing with your know-how to related fields like sensing (current sensor design) or EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility)
- Modelling magnetic components and integrating the models in power converter simulations
- Coming up with new innovative concepts at the intersection between power electronics and magnetics
- Planning, setup and executing experimental characterization and model validation
- Building a network in the company and actively distributing your knowledge and expertise
**Your background**:
- PhD in electrical engineering, power electronics, physics, or a related discipline with an excellent scientific track record
- Deep understanding of magnetic components and windings (e.g., Litz, foil) in medium to high frequency range
- Excellent modeling capabilities of magnetic materials and windings
- Proven hands-on laboratory skills for characterization and testing of magnetic components and windings
- Experience in EMC conducted and/or radiated emissions is desired
- Familiarity with insulation requirements and design aspects is welcome
- Additional experience modeling and optimization of power converters is a plus
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
