Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich is located in the heart of the Old Town, in the main business center, close to the city's leisure attractions and just a short walk from the shores of Lake Zurich. The Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich has 80 guest rooms and suites and three dining venues, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant and a lobby lounge. The hotel is ideal for meetings and events with its newly renovated event facilities, including a grand historic ballroom.

**About the job**

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the Groups & Events Sales Department in Zurich, the Groups & Events Sales Trainee provides administrative support to the Groups & Events Sales Team, ensuring smooth operations and efficient coordination.

**As Groups & Events Sales Trainee, you will be responsible for the following tasks**:

- Administrative duties such as processing inquiries, preparing offers, and maintaining customer data.
- Communicating with clients and internal departments to coordinate event details.
- Assisting in the preparation and follow-up of events, including creating schedules and guest lists.
- Attending meetings and supporting internal project organization.
- Collecting and analyzing customer feedback after events.
- Supporting the team with general administrative tasks in the Sales & Events department.

**As Groups & Events Sales Trainee, we expect from you**:

- Enrolled as a student in a Swiss hotel management school.
- First experience in the hospitality or event industry is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills and good time management.
- Communicative, open-minded, and a team player.
- Confident use of MS Office and ideally some experience with hotel software.
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
- Independent, structured working style with great attention to detail.
