**Your role**- report management information to the Asset Management Executive Committee, from regular monthly financial packs to ad-hoc analysis and business commentary
- drive high quality reporting and analytical insight to our Chief Financial Officer
- deliver monthly financial estimates and forecasts, understand, and explain the P&L performance of the division and proactively challenge our Finance colleagues to ensure the highest quality information
- partner in financial core processes such as the annual three-year strategic plan
- lead and support global improvement initiatives across the wider Asset Management aligned Finance function by proactively engaging with colleagues across multiple locations
**Your team**
- You’ll be working in the UBS Asset Management Finance & Advisory team. We act as a challenging and value-adding thought partner to the business and senior management by providing transparency and high-quality business analytics to enable fact-based and solution-oriented decision making. In addition, we provide advice and insight on profitability, strategic projects, and business planning, while driving and supporting the development and execution of UBS Asset Management's strategy and business plan.
**Your expertise**
- 3+ years of experience in finance, ideally in a banking environment
- University degree in accounting, business, or similar field
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills; knowledge of business intelligence tools desirable but not essential
- Ability to positively question the status-quo and strive for process improvements
- Methodical, concise, and accurate, with strong attention to detail and excellent analytical / numerical skills
- Excellent communicator and confident in dealing with senior stakeholders
- Well organized, adaptable, able to work under pressure against a backdrop of tight weekly and monthly deadlines
- Ambitious to challenge senior stakeholders and push the boundaries of what your team can deliver strategically
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
