- Your role:

- Are you at your best when solving problems for clients and building long-term relationships? Do you have a proven track record in advising sophisticated institutional-type clients?
- Thanks to your in-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment solutions and your experience in coordinating work with colleagues from different businesses and locations, you will be able to generate significant value for both our clients and UBS.
- We’re looking for a Client Advisor to:
- Establish long-term mutually beneficial relationships with private and institutional-type clients and family offices
- Lead an institutional-level dialogue with clients
- Offer wealth solutions that best meet our clients’ needs, in cooperation with our specialists and CIO office
- Maximize client assets and revenues under UBS management
- Develop a client investment strategy and keep a close eye on portfolio quality
- Comply with all regulation, policies and standards, contributing to an effective risk culture and acts as first line of defense in managing risk

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement a strategic, quantitative client book development plan aiming towards contract-based solutions and including regular monitoring and re-assessments
- Develop a mutual understanding with the client and establish trust-based partnerships with main focus on tactical advice
- Maintain a complete, accurate, up-to-date investor profile and fully document the client relationship
- Work closely with other team members, regularly sharing information on clients and client activities and sharing best practices
- Define the investment strategy and contractual arrangement most suitable to each client based on needs, objectives and expectations
- Prepare key client meetings, systematically monitor and optimize portfolio quality and performance by executing investment proposals, immediately addressing any health check issues and assisting with risk remediation activities
- Regularly bring UBS expertise and content to clients via flow of relevant market updates, tactical investment advice and portfolio health checks aligned to investor profile, Global market expert, CIO House View and Research based Advice
- Involve specialists from other areas (e.g. Process & Risk Specialist, Advisory & Sales, Investment Bank, Asset Management)
- Ensure clients are managed according to all relevant regulations, policies and standards, contributing to an effective risk culture in the team

Key Deliverables:
- Sustainable financial performance along agreed market-specific KPIs such as revenue growth, Net New Money from existing clients, and obtaining of referrals and leads to be pursued.
- Ensure regular client contact, client performance and overall client satisfaction.
- Manage client book consistent with all relevant regulation, policy and standards and pro-actively identify, manage or escalate risks
- Mandate penetration in line with market and segment targets
- Flawless documentation and day-to-day execution of client orders, use of best practices and support tools
- Highly effective personal organization, structured planning and efficient time management.

**Your expertise**
- Proven experience in advising sophisticated institutional-type clients in a relationship management, sales or product / service specialist role
- Existing relevant work experience, ideally as a Client Advisor
- Good knowledge of WM systems and processes
- In depth knowledge of asset allocation, all asset classes and product
- Desire to build your client portfolio and relationships
- A firm grasp of financial markets and regulatory frameworks
- A commercial mind-set coupled with sound negotiation skills
- Always looking to improve the client experience
- Motivated, self-directed and driven
- A dynamic and flexible team player with great networking skills
- A perfectionist in everything you do (that includes, of course, documentation)
- An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Confidently dealing with sophisticated clients and complex investments
- Fluent in English and German, any other language could be an advantage
