Live-in Nanny in Commugny

A family living in Commugny in the canton of Vaud a is looking for a live-in experienced Nanny to start in April.

**Children**: a 4 month old baby

**Conditions**: Live-in / Full-Time / Long-term contract

**Languages required**: Fluent English and French

**Schedule**: Available Monday to Friday from 7 am to 7 pm with breaks during the day (the family wants flexibility because the parents work full time

**Main tasks**:

- Creating a loving, nurturing and stimulating environment
- Meeting the child's social, emotional and physical needs
- Following the child’s daily routine and naps as appropriate to the age and as discussed with parents
- Ensuring the child security at all times when on duty and contributing to the child’s well-being
- Providing age-appropriate activities to teach and actively promote the development of the child - both physically and intellectually
- Assisting with care and hygiene, changing diapers, cutting nails, etc.
- Keeping the child bedrooms and playroom organised and tidy
- Preparing nutritious meals and feeding the child according to the child’s age
- Preparing formula bottles and providing them to the child as discussed with parents

**Requirements**:

- EU/Swiss Passport or Swiss Permit
- Strong written job certificates or job references
- At least 3 years of experience in the same role working in private homes
- Experience looking after babies
- Fluency in English and a minimum of B2 French
- Good communication skills
- Dynamic, polite with a happy disposition
- Flexibility to help with extra babysitting and travelling with the family
