For our international customer in Geneva we are looking to hire a Community Platform Technical Project Manager for a temporary project of few months.

The Temporary Community Platform Technical Project Manager is responsible for working with the client’s external supplier to successfully build the platform within the set requirements, timeframe, and budget.

**Responsibilities**:
The Community Platform Technical Project Manager will coordinate and complete the project to successfully build an online community platform for its constituents.
- Develop a project plan and schedule based on the project concept, project goals and needs requirements.
- Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project as well as maintain project timeframes and budgeting estimates.
- Support the selection process of the supplier to identify the external provider of the online community platform.
- Work directly with the platform supplier and to adapt it to the required needs in terms of functionality, branding, and integration. Document any non-standard adaptations in order to inform any future development of the platform.
- Co-ordinate with the project owner and constituents to ensure deliverables meet their needs and fall within the applicable scope and budget.
- Define testing scenarios and thoroughly test the platform before it goes live to identify any bugs and issues, and work with the supplier and the relevant units.
- Manage all aspects of the project ranging from organizing meetings to discuss progress to assessing and managing project risks.
- Prepare reports for management regarding status of project as required.
- Carry out other duties relevant to the project as required.
- Ensure a plan is in place for the technical support and maintenance of the community platform after the system goes into production.

**Qualifications and experience required**:

- Advanced computer skills and knowledge of different online community platforms.
- Experience of managing similar projects including an external supplier as well as internal IT group.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English to coordinate people involved in the project as well as report to management and explain technical issues.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during the project completion.
- Organization and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills.
- **PMP** Certification is a definite plus

This is a remote position.
