**Research Assistant on Evidence-LLM, a project leveraging large language models to advance mental health research 20 - 40 %**: Start of employment 01.04.2025 or by agreement, temporary
The Digital & Mobile Health Group is an interdisciplinary research team at the Institute for Implementation Science in Health Care, with close ties to the Digital Society Initiative of the University of Zurich. We are developing methods for next-generation research studies by collecting and analyzing multimodal sensor-, smartphone-, and patient-reported health data for chronic disease research (e.g. Multiple Sclerosis) and public health. We work closely with our stakeholders (e.g. citizens, persons with chronic diseases, and healthcare professionals) to create meaningful evidence for healthcare and prevention. Our group utilizes a broad mix of analysis methods including statistical modeling, machine learning, and natural language processing.
**Your responsibilities**:
- As a research assistant in Evidence-LLM, you will support the execution of the project. Your main tasks will include:
- manual preprocessing of the text data for the analyses,
- support in the creation of synthetic data that reflect the characteristics of the real data,
- manual testing and validation of the (predictive) model performance,
- screening and review of relevant literature.
Since the project will lay the groundwork for future health research using LLM, you may also assist in the prepara-tion of future efforts in this area, as time permits.
