**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead a group of co-workers (2-4)
- Assume responsibility for planning, execution, review and approval of analytical laboratory work for biologics, including method transfer and validation in a cGMP-compliant environment. This includes the following modalities: antibodies, ADCs, recombinant proteins, vaccines and CGT products for pre-clinical and clinical products (drug substance & drug product)
- Provide technical and scientific knowledge to team members in a range of bioanalytical methods including Biacore, ELISA, cell-based assays, etc.
- Contribute as team member to the success of projects, and be the point of contact for customers / project leads for Bioanalytics.
- Assume responsibility for qualification of new instrumentation and maintaining lab equipment
- Ensure cGMP-compliant documentation and process handling.
- Contribute to scientific field or technique by solving scientific problems within the department
- Presenting work at scientific conferences or in peer-reviewed publications.
- Perform other duties as assigned
**Key Requirements**
- PhD in Cell biology, Molecular biology, Biochemistry, or related field, or a degree in e.g. Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences and relevant training on the job
- Good working experience in analytical development and/or quality control, preferably under cGMP regulation
- Excellent working knowledge in relevant analytical techniques
- Solid knowledge of current good manufacturing practices (cGMP)
- Very good communication skills with excellent command of English both written and spoken
- Excellent reporting and scientific skills
- Capability to work independently and in a team environment
