Our group covers exciting pre-clinical pharmacology research in Oncology Drug Discovery.

We are looking for a motivated Postgraduate who recently finished their MSc.
Start date: June / July

Duration: 6 months
Location: Basel, Switzerland

Your responsibilities will include:

- Perform, evaluate and interpret experiments under the leadership of your team colleagues and Lab Head to characterize novel therapeutic concepts for oncology projects in various in vivo, ex vivo an in vitro assays
- Develop and characterize novel in vivo oncology models
- Independently search for information in scientific and technical literature
- Present and discuss your data within the team

**Minimum requirements**

What you’ll bring to the role:

- Recent Master graduate in a relevant life science discipline (e.g. cellular biology, molecular biology, human biology, genetics, pharmacology). You have completed your master's degree within the past 12 months and have not yet collected work experience since the degree completion
- Business-level English
- Good knowledge of standard molecular and cell biology techniques (e.g. cell culture, quantitative real-time PCR, western blotting)
- Strong interest in working in a creative environment where you demonstrate proactiveness, a flexible attitude and scientific curiosity

Desirable:

- Animal license is a plus (LTK or FELASA)
