At Quantis, you will find three different types of communities in charge of managing, developing and leveraging our expertise and know-how:

- **Sector-based communities** gather insights and share knowledge on the specific sector and key clients. They build sector-value chain point of views, transition paths towards operating within planetary boundaries, and nourish our Quantis offering.
- E.g. Cosmetics & Personal Care, Food & Beverage, Fashion & Sporting Goods, Finance
- **Environmental topic-based communities** build and exchange knowledge and expertise on a given environmental topic. They take the latest science and make it actionable for consultants in client projects.

Our communities, as well as the Science & Innovation team, are coordinated by the Global Client Transformation Lead.

**THE ROLE**
Quantis strives to nurture and maintain the best expertise and quality of delivery. Consistent excellence in our work supports efficient delivery and client transformation. This newly created role will enable Quantis to excel in this area and better support our clients’ transformation towards sustainability. Many of the key challenges clients in **Quantis’ core sectors face are linked to agricultural practices** and related environmental pressures (e.g. land use change, carbon removals, water use and pollution) and impacts (biodiversity loss, climate change, water risk). Through this role, Quantis will reinforce its focus on agricultural practices and land-based challenges and solutions to solve our clients’ issues in transforming their supply chain impacts to align with planetary boundaries.

The Global Expertise Lead will lead the definition and implementation of Quantis’ development strategy for their topic area. This role will be accountable for:

- Agenda-setting and developing Quantis’ unique approach to Land & Agriculture;
- Ensuring that Quantis has the **necessary expertise** on this topic across branches and sectors to deliver our offerings and advice to key clients;
- Ensuring the community is delivering the **necessary materials** to make this happen (incl. documentation, tools, specifications for digital development, methodologies, sales decks, training, bizdev support);
- Developing **thought leadership** regarding the main contributors and solutions to the environmental challenge at stake; and
- **Building and coordinating the community** across Quantis branches as well as among the wider scientific community around land & agriculture.
- **Representing Quantis** in an ecosystem of external partnerships focusing on the Land & Agriculture
The Global Land & Agriculture Lead will work across all Quantis branches.
The Land & Agriculture expertise covers topics such as (non-exhaustive):

- Assessment of dLUC and sLUC
- Removals accounting through land (soil carbon, reforestry, etc.)
- Assessment of best practices in farm-level interventions (incl. regenerative agriculture practices, organic farming practices, certifications, etc.)
- Farm-level activity data collection (e.g. primary data collection from farmers)
- Aligning Quantis expertise with associated guidelines & frameworks (ex. GHG Protocol, SBT FLAG
