Health, Safety, Environment Coordinator

**Your mission**:
- ** Operational Leadership**: Engaging with all departments to evaluate critical risks, develop safe operating protocols, and provide technical support for operational and research facilities. Designing and delivering HSE strategies and initiatives aligned with business goals.
- ** Behavioral role model**: Drive safety culture by embedding safety principles into production, engineering, and laboratory activities. Initiating and organizing OHS training of employees and executives.
- ** Project Management**: Oversee HSE aspects of projects and support risk mitigation.
- ** Compliance and Regulation**: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., REACH, SEVESO, Dangerous Goods Regulations, Machinery Directive) and act as a liaison with regulatory authorities.
- ** Risk Assessment**: Lead HAZOPs, PHRs, LOPA assessments, and incident investigations to identify and address process and operational safety risks
- ** Reporting and Analysis**:Develop and report on HSE KPIs while implementing global process safety systems
**Your profile**:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical, process, mechanical engineering or related disciplines.
- 5+ years of work experience as a process safety engineer or related roles in an industrial environment ideally in chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASME, API).
- Professional certifications such as ASGS Specialist, CSP or OHST are advantageous.
- Strong communicational skills with the ability to explain complex issues and work cooperatively and supportively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English and proficient at French.
- Have a Swiss working permit or be eligible to work in Switzerland.
