**Your main tasks**:

- Lead a team of Hardware and Electronic engineers developing Ypsomed’s “state of the art” Insulin Infusion pumps.
- Actively drive concept generation, analysis and development of innovative electronics solutions and system architectures for our pumps in accordance with design development and control processes
- Contribute to requirements definition, create design documentation and verification test plans
- Drive new component introduction and obsolescence management with third party suppliers
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design and development processes within the department
- Participate in peer reviewing of the various hardware development artifacts
- Working knowledge of the following tools considered an advantage: Altium Designer, DOORS Next, Minitab
- Deliver work in compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA Medical Device Design Control processes
- Support the team with HW related verifications including CB certifications for IEC 60601-1
- Participate in our continuous learning programs sharing your considerable knowledge within our department

**Your profile**:

- Master level in hardware, electronic engineering or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years' hands-on involvement in developing embedded hardware solutions for medical devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and enhancing patient care and safety
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and responsiveness to meet project deadlines
- Team orientated, responsive and customer focused
- Very good knowledge of German and English (B2 or higher preferred)
