**Associate Scientist (f/m/d)**

**The Challenge**:

- Based in Kaiseraugst, you will be part of the R&D Analytics Product Application team and will assume the following tasks in support of various innovation projects:
**The Position**
- Execution of the quantitative analysis of carotenoids, vitamins and new health ingredients in different matrices (feed, premix, etc ), based on existing methods and support of the continuous improvement of these methods
- Evaluation and implementation of new analytical technologies
- Take initiative and implement new solutions to speed-up, miniaturize & automate sample preparation and analytical workflow
- Calibration and maintenance of analytical laboratory equipment
- Oral and written reporting of performed work and respective results
- Deliver in a cross-functional, highly dynamic innovation environment

**The Ideal**
- Bachelor with at least five years of experience or Master degree with experience in analytical chemistry or related fields
- Sound expertise in HPLC, LC-MS and GC technology, knowledge on CE and SFC is a plus
- Knowledge in feed/food sample work up and/or quantification of small molecules (e.g. vitamins, carotenoids, or other natural products) is an advantage
- Experience with computerized lab environment (LIMS, CDS, electronic lab notebook, scientific databases, etc.)
- Knowledge on digital transformation (data management, automation ) is a plus
- Open-minded team player with flexibility to work in different innovation projects or laboratory teams
- Good presentation skills
- Good command of English is required, German is a plus
