Grants Office: Research Manager with Focus On

To join our small international team, we are currently looking for a Research Manager with focus on Innovation Funding. An important part of your daily work is coordinating between researchers, internal and external stakeholders. As an “Euresearch Company Advisor”, you will also be responsible for consulting local companies.

**Your position**
- Advise researchers from the University of Basel and local companies about funding opportunities for research projects
- Organise and host information events, workshops and webinars, including events in collaboration with regional partner organisations
- Proactive information on EU funding programs among companies and supporting local stakeholders
- Support researchers with the preparation of project proposals, in particular the administrative, financial and technical aspects
- Provide administrative support for research projects at the university (in particular Innosuisse, EU-Projects) in collaboration with other key support offices

**Your profile**
- Higher education degree (preferably PhD)
- Research experience
- In-depth knowledge of national and international funding opportunities (in particular innovation programmes)
- In-depth knowledge of local innovation community would be an asset
- Experience in planning and managing research projects
- You enjoy helping others and work well under pressure
- You are a highly motivated team player, who is able to work independently and shows initiative
- You enjoy working in an international academic environment
- Fluency in German and English is essential.
