Before starting Lakera, we have built massively complex software at Google, developed safety-critical AI across industries, and helped the EU define what it means to regulate AI. **Your day-to-day responsibilities**:
The following illustrates some of the projects that you could be working on:
- Dive into the latest research on building safe and reliable computer vision systems.
- Push the relevant research further to create tangible value for companies building the most visionary computer vision systems.
- Design and implement novel solutions to efficiently test, validate, and productionize computer vision systems.
- Scale our existing software stack to serve the most demanding use-cases.
**About you**:
None of these are strict requirements but do illustrate what type of people would be most effective at Lakera right now. Ideally you:
- are familiar with Python and ML development libraries (PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc);
- have a track record of developing world-class research in ML, Statistics, or Data Science more broadly;
- enjoy working on a wide range of algorithmic problems and designing efficient software systems;
- have an eye for pragmatism, enjoy taking ownership, being hands-on, and getting things done while being mindful of our longer-term vision;
- are excited about a front-row seat in a fast-growing, early-stage company (a rapidly changing, ambiguous and undefined environment);
- have an interest in AI safety, ethics & regulations.
