As an HR Business Partner for Global Functions you will be responsible for executing the HR strategy in line with overall HR strategy in the Corporate Functions area. The role has overall strategic & operational responsibility with focus on Global Leadership Teams to manage & supervise HR processes (globally & locally) and global HR initiatives effectively. You will define & facilitate implementation of Human Resource initiatives, manage & supervise labor & employee relations and provide coaching and counseling to the respective Leaders & their Leadership Teams. The role supports General Counsel (Legal, E&C and Corporate EHS), and Information Technology.
Key responsibilities:
- Strategic & operational responsibility with focus on Global Leadership Teams
- Assuring the business area is aligned with overall operational strategies for recruitment, selection, retention, development, performance, labor relations and total rewards
- Develops and delivers effective people related strategies for the area following the Group Strategy
- Integrates best practices across the business unit taking lean methodology into consideration, and directing the implementation of standardized global HR processes. Influences within a matrix organization to ensure alignment across the business unit, working closely with local HR
- Establish and overview global staffing plan, and support in recruiting process for senior positions; support in on-boarding if applicable
- Measures effectiveness of HR actions with dashboard and Employee Engagement Survey, and leveraging data to drive action
- In Organization and Talent Reviews, develops a talent pipeline with the business to ensure organization is resourced to meet current and future leadership needs and diversity goals
- Provides counsel to leaders in all people related matters including low performer and conflict management and ensures highest ethical standards are maintained
Key requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Management (or similar field of study) required. Master's and/or Human Resources certificate/qualification preferred
- Extensive experience of broad HR experience across multiple areas of specialization and cultures with increasing levels of responsibility
- Experience delivering impactful solutions to complex business problems in a dynamic and changing environment
- Able to drive actions to resolution in a matrix organization
- Extensive knowledge of coaching, leadership development and succession planning with demonstrated success in building talent pools and leadership pipelines
- Ability to foster relationships at all levels and become a trusted advisor to senior leadership
- Excellent communication skills in English.
