As part of the strengthening of its activities in Switzerland, BearingPoint is looking for a (Junior) Business Consultant to join its Banking & Capital markets team in Geneva. Tasks

The Banking & Capital markets team in our Geneva office serves leading clients from the financial services industry (Wealth Management, Private Banking, Asset Management, Family Office, etc.) in their business transformation initiatives at the edge of the digital age. BearingPoint provides them with expertise in defining and implementing new operational strategies and operating models, designing, and reviewing business processes, deploying the latest technology trends, and carrying out regulatory change initiatives.
- Shape the future: You'll be at the forefront of shaping the future for our clients, working closely with our international Banking & Capital Markets team. This involves crafting innovative solutions for their regulatory transformation initiatives. You'll define processes, establish new target operating models, and shape IT landscapes, all to ensure operational efficiency while maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Facilitate Transformation: As a (Junior) Business Consultant, you'll be a catalyst for transformation. From the strategy development phase up to the implementation phase, you'll be there every step of the way to guide our clients through their journey of change.
- Contribute to thought leadership in Regulatory Compliance: You'll become a leader in the realm of regulatory compliance. Your role will involve in-depth research and analysis of the latest developments in tax, regulatory and compliance regulations. Based on your insights, you'll pioneer individual approaches, formats, and frameworks, helping our clients stay ahead in the ever-evolving regulatory landscape.
- Enable Banking Transformation: At BearingPoint, you'll be the driving force behind banking transformation. You'll leverage data to create valuable insights and identify correlations that shape the data-driven business models of the future, making a significant impact within the financial industry.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in the consulting industry or industry-relevant experience in banking or wealth management
- Prior experience in one or more regulatory transformation initiatives with work carried out on the impact of regulation on business operations, processes, and the technology landscape (e.g., LSFIN/FIDLEG, FINFRAG, FADP, AMLA, KYC, Client tax reporting, tax reclaim, tax relief, AEI, FATCA, QI, regulatory reporting EMIR Refit, Mifir, etc.).
- You are familiar with working in an international environment. The mastery of French and English is a prerequisite. German is a plus.
- You show organizational skills that reflect your ability to perform all daily tasks with excellent attention to detail. In addition, you are creative, flexible and proactive.
