- We’re looking for a visual designer to join our in-house creative and marketing team in Zurich, Switzerland.

This isn’t your typical design job.
This is EF — a global education company with offices and schools in over 50 countries, and a shared mission to open the world through education.

You’ll be working specifically with EF High School Exchange Year, one of EF’s exchange-focused programs. Our team spans Europe, Brazil, Asia — and the U.S. — and our job is to inspire high school students (and their sometimes-skeptical parents) to spend a year living with a host family and going to high school in the U.S.
- Your work will need to cross borders — and break through the noise. You’ll be designing for different cultures and audiences, often all in the same day. From bold, scroll-stopping social posts and stories to polished print, sleek landing pages, and quick-turn Canva assets that support our sales team.
- Some days are about big ideas. Other days are about getting things done — we’re looking for someone who’s excited by both.
- You might be a fit if you:

- Have 2+ years of design experience (agency, in-house, freelance — we care more about your work than your title)
- Studied graphic design, visual communication, or learned it the hands-on way and got really good
- Are confident designing for social media and digital channels — and have a good sense of what catches attention and connects with the audience
- Know your way around Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma — and Canva for fast, on-brand content to support daily sales and marketing needs
- Can do basic video edits for Reels, TikToks, or stories (nothing fancy — just the right vibe)
- Understand that design is also about clear communication, not just how things look
- Are organized, proactive, and collaborative — and know there’s more to teamwork than shared docs
- Like to think big, but aren’t afraid to jump into production work when needed
- Can keep calm when someone occasionally asks, “Can this go live by tomorrow?”
