**Key responsibilities**
- Build, establish and lead the strategy and capabilities for analytical development and testing
- Oversee the build-up of infrastructure, strategy and equipment
- Supervise the development and implementation of analytical methods and technologies relevant for product development and Quality Control
- Ensure an adequate documentation and procedure system
- Manage the organizational and personal development of the Department
- Ensure effective use of resources (time, personnel, equipment, material, rooms), following all cGMP regulations
- Provide testing for the drug products manufactured at the sterile manufacturing facilities in Stein and Visp
**Key requirements**
- PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field
- Extensive working industry experience in protein analytical development and DP Quality Control
- Exceptional leadership and management skills and experience
- Outstanding organizational and planning abilities
- Excellent command of English and communication skills
- Strong decision making and team player
- Excellent ability to motivate and provide solutions for complex challenges
