Staff UX Program Manager, Consumer Shopping

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - Experience in program management and leading operational initiatives. As a UX Program Manager (UX Programs & Operations), you will combine expert project management skills with a passion for user experience to help your team improve the design of products that are used by billions of users. You’ll plan projects, define milestones, assess risks, create actionable insights, and ensure projects meet deadlines. You’ll harmonize the work of UX Designers, Researchers, Content Strategists, UX Engineers, and other UX disciplines, while also working closely with our Engineering and Product Manager cross-functional partners, to drive UX team objectives and create innovative experiences for our business, products, and users. With over one billion shopping sessions happening per day on Google, we’re creating new innovative shopping and selling experiences that leverage Google’s Shopping Graph: a comprehensive, AI-enhanced model that understands products, sellers, brands, and reviews and how those attributes relate to one another and the product information and inventory data we receive from brands and retailers directly. **Responsibilities**: - Lead and partner with User Experience team leadership in key project decision-making, including program prioritization, requirements gathering, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of teams and approval processes. - Oversee the User Experience design and review process. - Own quarterly planning and prioritization with User Experience team leadership and cross-functional partners to drive quarterly decision-making around priorities and resource allocation. - Identify team needs with regards to process, tools, documentation, and asset management, driving required changes to make sure the User Experience team is enabled to create excellent user experiences, and make the most impact. - Establish communications strategy and cadence to cross-functional team leads and executive management regarding program status, resource requirements, risks, and priorities.
