**YOUR **responsibilities & YOUR impact**:
**Aim of this role**

The Sr Technician USP operates equipment used in manufacturing. Handles the repair and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs associated necessary adjustments. Execution of the practical project work according to GLP and EHS requirements

**General Activities**
- Execution of project work in line with established GLP procedures (SOPs, equipment and works instructions) and regulations, if required also on weekends.
- Documentation of results in the applicable record (batch record, lab notebook) according to GDP standards.
- Support team internal as well as department wide lab organization (GMP area) with emphasis on EHS and GDP compliance.
- Equipment maintenance and calibration, writing of work instructions (trouble shooting / solving).
- Support writing of master batch records.
- Supports lab organization (5S, maintenance planning, equipment organization in SAP).
- Support implementation of new techniques and technologies.
- Support development / qualification / validation of processes in cooperation with qualification and validation team
- Support of inspections if required (GMP as well as EHS

**Qualifications**:

**Essential**
- Education: Apprenticeship/BSc level in Biotechnology / Biology / Chemistry or equivalent
- Experience: Generally requires 2-6 years of related experience

**Key competencies required**
- Advanced knowledge in fermentation and mammalian cell culture cultivation
- Advanced knowledge in cell clarification techniques
- Advanced knowledge technical equipment used for USP
