**Your contribution**

In this position, you will support the Tecan Lab Automation Team in competitor, industry and market intelligence monitoring and reporting to senior management. Reporting to the Senior Manager Strategy & Business Development, you can make things happen and grow professionally. This is an exciting opportunity in a dynamic environment at the intersection of business execution and strategy in a Life Science environment
- Gathering, and synthesizing market intelligence (including complex data on macro trends, market dynamics, competitor landscape, and capturing the government/regulatory context)
- Individually creating presentations for Senior Management
- Contributing to strategic projects, M&A, product management or business reporting activities (including exposure to senior management presentations, financial analysis, business case development)

**Your background**_ _

- MSc student (or recent graduate or final BSc semester) in Biology / Medical Engineering / Life Sciences (with genuine interest in business). Additional education (e.g. MBA) is a plus
- Initial work experience e.g., from an industry internship with good reference(s) is a plus
- Strengths in quantitative disciplines (math, statistic, physics, IT, etc.) required
- Demonstrated use of MS PowerPoint and Excel is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Additional German language skills preferred
- You are a proactive, self-motivated, and independent self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset
