No education yet to work in childcare, but you have ambition? At Crossing Borders we offer a program for Practitioners with a possibility of an apprenticeship after 2 years. (german should be at a sufficient level)
We will soon open a brand new location of Crossing Borders in Winterthur. Also we have a beautiful location in Zürich Manegg. In Winterthur you can be involved from the start In Manegg you can join the energetic team. You will work in a beautiful new location, where every detail of the interior has been thought about. With the most creative materials for children, but also the best facilities for employees. You will work with a new team of professional and fun colleagues, who, just like you, want to get the best out of themselves for children, parents and each other. You provide structure and tranquility for the children in the group. A completely new location also means that there is a lot of room for improvement and growth. You can actively contribute and bring your own ideas. So that this new location of Crossing Borders also meets the highest quality requirements.
THIS IS CHILD CARE AT CROSSING BORDERS
Our bilingual age mixed groups are the perfect place to get to know the Crossing Borders pedagogical vision. We believe that children can already do a lot themselves. We challenge children, stimulate their resourcefulness, teach them to think in terms of solutions. So that they are resilient and ready for the future
But how do we do that? A few examples. We work with passive toys at our locations. Blocks or balls are examples of items that appeal to the child's own creativity. As a Praktikant you prepare the spaces in the group with passive materials. The children can stack, collect, sort and imitate. The children will explore the materials in their own way and pace You also let children make their own choices and do things to the extent of their capabilities. The toddlers choose which cracker they eat and which topping they want on it. After they have eaten they clean their own face with a washcloth. Because by letting them make their own choices and letting them do things them selves, you increase their self-confidence.
WHAT WE EXPECT
You are over 18 years old, have a genuine interest in the development of children. You are energetic, entrepreneurial, fun to work with and you speak German and / or English very well.
