Implenia is the leading construction and construction services company in Switzerland with a strong position in the German, Austrian and Scandinavian infrastructure markets. For our Tunnelling business unit, we are looking for you to take on this key role as Lean Construction Head and drive forward the development of Lean in our tunnelling projects and in the Tunnelling business unit. Your location will be according to mutual agreement either at our head office in Opfikon or at our branch office in Munich.

**Your Tasks**:

- Responsibility for the transnational introduction of state-of-the-art management techniques under the umbrella of Lean Construction with focus on Tunnelling Industry
- Leading transnational initiatives in the field of Lean Construction
- Leading Lean activities in our tunnelling projects and supporting our project teams in the implemen-tation of Lean principles and methods
- Functional leadership of our local Lean managers
- Leading the development of a transnational network of operational Lean experts in tunnel construc-tion
- Support and lead trainings in the internal Lean Expert Programme
- Piloting and further development of Lean methods and process optimisation in tunnelling together with the division

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering (Uni/FH) or similar.
- Advanced training in Lean Six Sigma (e.g. Lean Black Belt) or similar preferred
- High willingness to travel within Europe (up to 50%)
- At least 6 years of professional experience in the implementation of Lean and Change programmes in the manufacturing or construction industry
- Experience in functional leadership of employees in a matrix organisation
- High level of personal responsibility, persuasiveness and communication skills to inspire employees and management for new working methods
- Fluency in English and German (French is an advantage)
- Good Office 365 skills (Power Platform and data analysis tools advantageous)

Together with our project teams and local Lean managers, you will pilot and implement Lean methods in the most exciting large-scale infrastructure projects of our time (e.g. the Brenner Base Tunnel in Austria or the Gotthard Base Tunnel in Switzerland). You can expect a position with international networking, scope for development and deep insight into operational and strategic tasks.
