- Your Tasks
- Develop and implement lifecycle strategies for managing product lifecycles across our Training Systems portfolio
- Coordinate obsolescence analysis, identifying risks early and proposing proactive mitigation plans
- Manage the obsolescence database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
- Initiate resolution activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams and collaborate with Product Managers to align obsolescence resolutions with product roadmaps
- Produce regular customer-facing and internal reports on obsolescence trends and forecasts
- Continuously refine and innovate on obsolescence processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- With this you convince us
- Technical education in engineering, electronics, or a related discipline
- Minimum of two 2 years' experience in obsolescence management, product lifecycle management, or related field
- Previous exposure to the aviation industry (or similarly complex technical environments) and additional qualifications in product management or business administration are a plus
- Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems, and strong MS Office skills (especially Excel)
- English at a minimum C1 level (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g. German) are beneficial
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, self-driven mindset, comfortable taking initiative in a dynamic environment and a team player dedicated to continuous improvement
