- Are you looking for a new challenge to further develop your career? We are currently seeking a highly driven, energetic junior professional to join us as a Junior Client Portfolio Manager (CPM). In this role, you will help support the growth of our client base, as well as contribute to future product and client development across the boutique.

Our CPMs support our Portfolio Managers by delivering investment messaging to clients and representing the boutique in meetings and communications with prospects, clients, and consultants. The CPMs work across client segments, bringing investment expertise and commercial drive to advanced prospect situations and servicing existing clients in line with the sales plan.

Vontobel’s Swiss Equity team, which this role will primarily support, manages CHF 6.5 billion in assets across large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap income and sustainable strategies for institutional and intermediary clients. The franchise has built significant assets based on the quality of the team, its investment approach, and performance.**What would your role be?**
- Maintenance and further development of standard marketing and pitch documents in consultation with the investment team in accordance with compliance guidelines.
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports for investment funds and client mandates (performance attribution reports and review books). Collaboration in the further development and automation of these reports.
- Respond to ad hoc questions from clients, prospects and consultants.
- In due course represent the Investment Team in prospect, client and consultant meetings bringing expertise in communicating the investment approach, philosophy, and portfolio positioning.
- Act as close partner to our client teams by taking a proactive commercial perspective in the advanced stages of the sales process and in client retention.
- Have a keen eye for industry best practices and ensure best-in-class standards in preparation for and follow up after client engagements.
- Originate and approve investment content and marketing messages in consultation with the investment team and other investment specialists within Vontobel.
- Maintain in-depth investment knowledge (attend investment meetings, read research reports, utilize information services, etc.) to credibly represent the Investment Team.

**What are we looking for**?**
- Passionate about fundamental equity investing
- Basic technical knowledge of equity investing
- 3-5 years minimum experience on the investment side
- Banking apprenticeship or Bachelor’s Degree,
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; proficient at writing investment commentary
- Prioritization, attention to detail, follow-up with a sense of urgency and organizational skills are essential.
- Comfort working in a very entrepreneurial, investment led team environment
- Native German, fluency in English, additional languages like French or Italian are welcome
- Basic knowledge in the use of programming languages (e.g. Python) or automation of databases/MS Excel
- Proficient in MS Powerpoint
