Internship for Master Thesis Upstream Pilot in

As part of Mammalian development services in Lonza Visp, the pilot laboratory is bridging the tech transfer activities to manufacturing scales. The pilot laboratory is willing to open opportunities to students for Master thesis work in the Lonza premises in Visp. The Master thesis will be focused on transferring newly developed upstream processes for process intensification (screening scales) to pilot scales using fully single-use equipment. The work will include cell culture activities and implementation of in-process analytics.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and perform experiments in the laboratory under the supervision of a senior member of the pilot laboratory
- Generate and analyze data for regular presentation with senior scientists and direct manager
Key requirements:
- Student from HES or EPF school in master cycle in the field of biotechnology
- English speaking and writing skills
